We have a strong dedication to preserve and protect this breed that we love so dearly. The Jack Russell Terrier is a special breed with special needs, it is not a breed for everyone.
Prospective families of our puppies are screened before placement to assure a happyrelationship. We provide rescue for our dogs and require that the new family return the terrier tous at anytime during the dog's lifetime if they are unable or unwilling to provide a home for it,animal shelters are not an option.
Many people are breeding terriers. Most have been bred without regard to temperament, health, or pedigree. These backyard breeders have not done genetic testing nor do they have any ideawhat they will do with their "surplus" dogs. Pups are sold to anyone willing to pay for them.We guarantee the health of our puppies. We breed sparingly, averaging two litters per year.
Our puppies are whelped inside our home and receive the necessary socialization.Genetic health is extremely important to us and we test all of our dogs for both hearing and vision problems.
We also participate in DNA Screenings to help isolate the genes that cause hereditary defects in our breed.Only registered, healthy and mature dogs that possess kind dispositions and have passed bothvision (CERF) and hearing (BAER) tests are bred. Any dog testing positive for a defect is spayed or neutered.
Our dogs receive all necessary health and veterinary care; and they are raised and kept in a safe, secure and loving environment.
